While it has always seemed most likely that Nova’s eventual introduction would come in a Guardians of the Galaxy movie, he’s just as likely to pop up as a gladiator in Thor: Ragnarok. If the Grandmaster’s arena somehow captured a Nova Corps officer, making it the human Ryder would give Thor a connection to his adopted planet, as well as be a great easter egg for fans.

I enjoy it, it’s just the music, the title font and the ascetic for the trailer alone has a retro 80’s feel to it that does not seem to mesh with the movie, which seems to be a sci-fi action movie with gladiators.
