May 26, 2007 · I never thought about not eating sausages when I was pregnant but I was really worried about the chicken nuggets. I always got them from McDonalds because I’ve never heard of anyone getting food poisoning from there, so i guess I just trusted them.

ive eaten chicken nuggets thru out my preg too, both from maccas and KFC and like Dimples i have 4 weeks to go and all is well.

I don’t think you’d get ill from them, as long as the Macca’s cooks them fresh. I had nuggets a couple of times in early pregnancy when travelling on road trips, because they are cooked. I thought that they are safer than eating a salad!

If you just want them to eat chicken nuggets cut up boneless skinless breasts and dip them in egg & flour. Then you can bake or fry them. Beans are also an excellent source of protein and fiber, just slightly mash them if your baby isn’t a good chewer yet.
