Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has a biting problem. The 26-year-old has been at the center of a number of controversies throughout his career, but the biting seems to generate the most buzz.
Get over it, He is just a human, footballers, dive, fight, use foul language, spit and do all sorts of nonsense on the field. And they get punished for it, so he is no different from any other. I enjoy watching him play, his skill, the goals he scores and that is why he is the current top scorer of PL and most probably will be player of the year.
I’m just saying, if you look at the damage from suarez’s bite, you’ll realise its not a great deal, certainly not compared to reckless tacklers, drug cheats, etc. If you have to give suarez a 4 months ban, half of the stoke team should get 2 year bans.

Violent play that can be categorically identified as deliberate should be punished, but there is a clear difference between a heavy tackle and a bite. Other forms of violent play such as any kind of physical assault not relating to tackling in the game should be punished too.
