This is why I like a lot of Gundam in general. They do a pretty good job of having good guys on both sides of the war (Ramba Ral, anyone?). I think this was one of the things that was so compelling about Wing was that there were so few truly evil guys.

Seriously, it’s like each series has a major theme about a contemporary issue. Hell, some of the series like Stardust Memory and Gundam Wing practically predicted huge moral issues a decade before hand.

In Gundam Wing, the Wing Gundam’s beam saber can cut through any mobile suit like a hot knife through butter. But in the episode where Zechs fights Heero in the South Pole, when Zechs is beating the Heavyarms, the beam saber acts more like a baseball bat hitting the Heavyarms, thus not cutting it or making any kind of surface damage.

Another great Gundam show to add if you only like Wing. 08th MS Team too is a mecha show but on a different scale dealing with ground based war scale other than space. It isn’t just about mechas but action pack hand in hand combat and weaponry with bombs, guns, and blades.
However, much like every great anime, every series needs to be «modernized» or «re-edited» to become «hip» with today’s kids: such is the case with Gundam Wing and most recently Gundam Seed. Gundam Wing/Seed are essentially the abridged (bastardized versions) its …

Feb 23, 2008 · If you like gundam series, then you must definetly watch Gundam 08th MS Team. Dont be put off by the old year of the animation because I watched this after gundam seed and loved it.
It’s questionable if there are even Gundams or any of the politics in the reality of the series, for all we know, everything is mostly Relena’s dementia, and she lives in a world entirely like our own, but of course, this is up to the viewer to decide, as Gundam Wing is the Pale Fire of the anime world.
I really like Turn A Gundam but to get the best effect you should watch a couple of other, earlier gundam shows first. It has a great cast and a very different setting and storyline to other Gundam shows.
Then Gundam AGE, more like softer form of Gundam from First to Crossbone. My favorites was the first one where we have a sane Flit Asuno which later became Titan-like person with the voice of Jerid(though many people rather calls him “Albatro Null AGE Asuka”).
Doesn’t seem like she assumes Mrs. Noventa knows where Heero is, exactly, so much as thinking that she might have some information or a possible lead. Not a concrete answer, but at least something that points her in some general direction. A report of a military base seeing a Gundam, or the like.
